Stop the Algae!

Algae can form in waterways due to excessive nutrient loading from yard and pet waste. Prevent the algae growth by:

• Composting yard waste and debris including leaves as they are a large contributor of phosphorous.
• Pick-up pet waste as it contributes excessive nutrients and e.Coli.
• Fertilize responsibly.
