What are Illicit Discharges? Illicit Discharges are anything other than rain or snow melt that enters storm sewers such as dirt, oil, chemicals, concrete, and excess nutrients. Report any of these things to your local municipality if you see them entering the storm sewer system.

What You Can Do

Properly dispose of chemicals and hazardous waste.

Store chemicals in a covered area.
