What are Illicit Discharges? Illicit Discharges are anything other than rain or snow melt that enters storm sewers such as dirt, oil, chemicals, concrete, and excess nutrients. Report any of these things to your local municipality if you see them entering the storm sewer system.

Regulation 87 – HB24-1379 directs the Water Quality Control Division to develop a dredge and fill authorization program and the Water Quality Control Commission to establish permitting and mitigation rules by Dec. 31, 2025.
